• Reindeer Games

    Reindeer Games was written and directed by Felicity Hesed with acrobatic design by Ori Quesada and choreography by Giamaica Zeidler. Reinder Games made its world premiere in December of 2023 at Children’s Creativity Museum. It will be remounted for the holidays in 2024.

    On the day before Christmas, Santa’s Reindeer anxiously await their favorite night of the year when they get to fly Santa’s sleigh. But how will they pass the time as they wait for Santa to finish packing his sleigh? By playing Reindeer Games, of course! Peek inside the secret lives of Santa’s Reindeer with this heartwarming tale of inclusion, collaboration… and managing anxiety! “Reindeer Games” is a holiday show for all ages filled with thrilling circus acts, live music, and interactive games.

  • {IN}TANGIBLE

    Written by Brianna Kalisch and directed by Felicity Hesed, {IN}TANGIBLE was developed during the summer of 2023 as part of an artist residency at ArtYard in Frenchtown, New Jersey. {IN}TANGIBLE will make it’s world premiere at Theatre Row in New York City in summer of 2024.

    {IN}TANGIBLE is a moving portrayal of a woman, Q, and her family as they negotiate her dementia. Q’s memories come to life as circus fantasies while the timelines of past and present become increasingly blurred.

  • The Secret Garden

    Adapted and directed by Felicity Hesed from Frances Hodgson Burnett’s beloved novel, The Secret Garden made its world premiere in June 2022 at Circus Center. It was remounted at the Children’s Creativity Museum in downtown San Francisco in summer of 2023.

    After a pandemic leaves young Mary Lennox orphaned, she is sent to live with her estranged Uncle in a mysterious Manor filled with secrets. When Mary discovers the gardens outside, a world of possibilities is revealed. The beloved tale of resilience and renewal is brought to life like never before with an original blend of circus performance and classic storytelling. This timely story explores trauma, grief, and the healing power of nature, play, and community.

  • Circus Pop Ups

    Circus Pop Ups was a project aimed at revitalizing live performance and creating work for artists following the pandemic. In the Spring and Summer of 2021, Circus Pop Ups was a series of site specific, public performances featuring live music and circus.

    Circus Pop Ups was made into a short film which was an Official Selection of the Circus International Film Festival and won the Audience Choice Award.

  • Women of America

    Women of America is a short film triptych directed by Felicity Hesed in which contemporary women remember suffragists through music, storytelling, and circus. This series was created as a celebration of the 19th Amendment Centennial and a call to action for the 2020 election.

    Women of America was an Official Selection at the Circus International Film Festival 2021.

  • Cara Vita: A Clown Concerto

    Cara Vita: A Clown Concerto was created and performed by Felicity Hesed with direction by Jeff Raz. It made its world premiere at the San Francisco International Arts Festival in May 2019. It was remounted in San Francisco in January 2020 at Circus Center before heading on to Asheville, North Carolina. Cara Vita: A Clown Concerto made its European premiere in London, UK in February 2020.

    Hilarious and heartbreaking, Cara Vita is both a deeply personal and universally human story. Cara Vita incorporates clowning, live music, and aerial arts to create an intimate theatrical experience that leaves audiences feeling moved and inspired.
