A 3-week intensive for exceptional youth artists from around the Bay Area to train, create, and perform together.

AGES 10 – 19The Youth All-Star Show brings together youth artists from around the Bay Area, offering them the opportunity to work with PCT’s top professional artists.
Participants will grow as athletes, artists, and performers. In addition, they will develop important skills for working professionally and create lasting relationships with peers and instructors. The program culminates in four public performances in the beautiful theater at the Children's Creativity Museum in Yerba Buena.

Who Can Apply
Intermediate and Advanced circus artists, dancers, and gymnasts between the ages of 10-19. Artists must have performance ready skills in at least one discipline. Participants will be training 5-7 hours/day so they must be physically prepared for this level of rigorous training.

Training & Rehearsal:
Week 1: June 22-26 from 10am-4pm at Circus Center
Week 2: June 29-July 2 from 10am-4pm at Circus Center
Week 3: July 7-10 from 10am-4pm at Children’s Creativity Museum
Public Performances:
July 11 & 12 at 11am & 1pm at Children’s Creativity Museum

Video Audition:
Put together a short video so we can see you in action. Upload the video to Google Drive, YouTube, or Vimeo. Email us the link with subject line “Youth All Star Show - Applicant’s FIRST and LAST NAME.” Video should be 5 minutes or less. Video should include:
Short Intro: Say name, age, primary performance discipline, and why you want to be in the Youth All Star Show.
Specialty Skill: 1-2 minute sample of your specialty skill/s.
Creative Movement: Create a 1-2 minute movement piece in which you tell a classic fairytale with physical movement and no words. We want to see your creativity.

In addition to working with PCT’s top professionals, the Youth All Star Show program will include Master Classes with some of San Francisco’s local circus celebrities.
